Gears of War: E-Day Arrives October 6 on PC with Day One Support for NVIDIA Technologies

Gears of War: E-Day

Gears of War: E-Day will be available starting October 6 with support for DLSS 4.5 and ray tracing from day one. The announcement came recently and confirms the partnership with NVIDIA for a game that aims to impress with its technical aspects.

Notably, an early access open beta is planned for players who pre-order the game, available from August 6. It’s worth mentioning that the game will not be available on PS5, and for the PC version, the system requirements have already been disclosed.

The Best NVIDIA Tech for the New Gears of War

The new Gears of War: E-Day is built entirely with Unreal Engine and DirectX 12, aiming to impress with its graphical quality by offering support for DLSS 4.5 and ray tracing from day one. In particular, the technical partnership between NVIDIA and The Coalition will allow the use of DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution, DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, NVIDIA Reflex, and other ray tracing effects. The first gameplay trailer has been available for several weeks and has confirmed the technical quality of the project.

The title will offer a high-level technical experience with MegaLights, allowing for efficient shadow rendering with ray tracing generated by up to 100 light sources. With Lumen, it is possible to leverage ray tracing for global illumination and ambient occlusion. The release date for the title is set for October 6.
