Goodbye Wires in Cars: Ottocast at IFA with Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, Display and AI Onboard
Ottocast has officially announced its participation in IFA Berlin 2026, the consumer electronics fair scheduled from September 4 to 8. The company, specializing in automotive connectivity technologies, will occupy a stand in Hall 6.2 (booth 109), where it will showcase its entire portfolio of products dedicated to infotainment, safety, and next-generation mobility.
Before the official opening of the event, the brand will meet with international press during the Showstoppers, a media-only event scheduled for September 3 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This will be an opportunity to preview product innovations and discuss the company's strategy on the future of connected driving.
Ottocast at IFA 2026: Four Product Lines on Display
The heart of the Berlin exhibition revolves around four families of solutions:
- OttoSafe groups devices designed for vehicle safety and monitoring, aiming to provide more accurate control while driving.
- OttoWireless focuses on eliminating cables for CarPlay and Android Auto, ensuring a seamless plug-and-play connection.
- Completing the range is OttoPlus, which combines artificial intelligence and entertainment functions for a more natural voice interaction and quicker response to driver commands.
- Lastly, OttoScreen is a portable and removable smart display capable of transforming the interior of any car into a digital cockpit without requiring permanent installations.
Rocky Mao, Media Planning Manager at Ottocast, commented on the decision to be present in Berlin: "Participating in IFA Berlin represents a fundamental opportunity for us to meet the international technology and automotive community, share our vision, and showcase how our solutions are redefining the connected driving experience."
Founded in Hong Kong in 2009, Ottocast now operates in over 50 countries and regions, with a particularly strong presence in North America, Europe, and Asia. The brand claims more than 2 million users worldwide, a base built around its technologies for CarPlay and Android Auto and a network of collaborations within the automotive ecosystem.
The corporate strategy converges toward a single goal: to integrate entertainment, navigation, connectivity, and safety into a single environment, reducing fragmentation between factory-installed hardware and aftermarket solutions. The IFA showcase will serve as a testing ground to understand how well these promises hold up in direct comparison with the audience and industry professionals, in a market where competition for wireless smartphone solutions in cars is becoming increasingly crowded.
