Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro Will Be an Ultra Compact, But Should Feature the Exynos Chip
The Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro is one of the most interesting novelties for the future of the smartphone market. It is, in fact, a compact variant of the Ultra model, without the S-Pen but with certainly interesting specifications. A new report, however, confirms the presence of the Exynos 2700 as the chip, instead of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro, in most markets (including Europe). This choice could represent a source of dissatisfaction for some users due to the likely performance advantage of the Qualcomm chip over the Exynos chip.
Dual Chip Strategy for the Galaxy S27 Pro
The Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro will be very similar to the Ultra, retaining the Privacy Display and also the camera department (aside from the telephoto lens, which should be different). The smartphone will also feature a 6.47-inch display with Privacy Display and will reportedly have a 5,000 mAh battery, according to rumors.
Regarding the SoC, Samsung is expected to focus on the Exynos 2700 at 2 nm, at least for most markets, including Italy. Only in the United States (and probably in China, although the report does not specify) will the smartphone arrive on the market with the Qualcomm SoC. This choice is linked to the need to contain prices and will also be proposed for the Galaxy S27 and S27 Pro. As usual, an official confirmation will only come at the time of presentation. The Galaxy S27 Pro, like all other models in the series, will debut only during the first quarter of 2027, with Samsung not in any rush and taking all the necessary time to optimize the project.
