Polestar 4 SUV Arrives in Italy: Pre-orders Starting September 2

Polestar has announced the arrival of the Polestar 4 SUV, a new variant that will complement the already well-known coupé version. The new model will be available for orders starting September 2 and represents an extension of the Polestar 4 family, with a particular focus on practicality without sacrificing the features that have made the range successful.

The new Polestar 4 SUV is designed to offer greater load capacity and superior versatility during travels. The project retains the distinctive design that characterized the Polestar 4 Coupé, while also maintaining the performance-oriented and sustainable approach that defines the Swedish brand.

"Polestar 4 has quickly established itself as one of our customers' favorite models, and we have recorded strong interest from those seeking distinctive design and high performance without sacrificing practicality," said Michael Lohscheller, CEO of Polestar. "With the Polestar 4 SUV, we further expand this offering, adding even more versatility while remaining true to the character of the Polestar 4. All wrapped in an extraordinary design that I was eager to present to the public."

From a technical standpoint, both the Polestar 4 SUV and the latest evolution of the Polestar 4 Coupé we tested last May introduce a new chassis tuning developed to enhance driving dynamics and emphasize the sporty character of the vehicle. The platform maintains the proven 400 Volt electrical architecture, a solution that allows for up to 630 km of range in the WLTP cycle for the Single Motor versions. For those seeking higher performance, the Dual Motor variants can develop 544 hp of maximum power, though this comes at the cost of a bit of range, which decreases to 590 km.

The production of the Polestar 4 SUV will take place at the Busan facility in South Korea. The new model will be marketed in most of the markets where the brand is already present, with the opening of orders scheduled for September 2.
