New rumors outline a possible change in the plans of Xbox Game Studios, with significant news regarding Arkane Studios, MachineGames, and some of the most anticipated projects currently in development. According to reports from Windows Central, the recent rumors about the possible closure of Arkane Studios and the cancellation of Marvel's Blade no longer reflect the current situation.

The development of the game dedicated to the famous Marvel character would indeed be proceeding regularly, while the studio would be involved in an internal reorganization process. An element that strengthens this hypothesis is represented by a legal document dated June 30, which shows that Jerk Gustafsson, director of MachineGames, has taken on the role of president of Arkane. However, the concrete effects that this new structure will have on the organization of the studio and its future projects are still unknown.

The rumors instead indicate that MachineGames is going through a particularly positive phase. The good response received from Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle would have bolstered Xbox's confidence in the studio, which would continue to receive investments to develop new projects. Among these would be Wolfenstein 3, a new chapter in the historic shooter series, which is reportedly already in the works (something that was hinted at some time ago).

According to rumors, Xbox is planning an official presentation of the game by the end of the year, while the launch is expected during 2027.
