Motorola has launched an app dedicated to the purchase of eSIM to have Giga abroad

The eSIM sector for staying connected abroad is experiencing significant growth, with many companies now offering this type of service to users. This week, the list of industry operators has been updated with Motorola.

The Lenovo brand, a key player in the smartphone market, has launched a new app called Global Connect, developed in collaboration with Gigs. The project starts in South America but will also reach Europe in the near future. Here are all the details.

A simple way to stay connected abroad

With Global Connect, Motorola will offer users the ability to purchase eSIMs to stay connected abroad, with various pricing options and the possibility to choose from plans available for over 160 countries.

The project is particularly interesting for Motorola users. In the future, the Global Connect application will be pre-installed on the producer's Android smartphones, simplifying the lives of users who intend to purchase an eSIM for connection abroad.

Motorola might offer discounts and advantageous conditions for its users, aiming to encourage the purchase of eSIM plans and making its smartphones even more competitive. The system allows for a quick activation of the desired plan.

For the launch in Europe, we just have to wait for the near future. It’s worth noting that almost all Motorola smartphones support eSIMs, with the manufacturer being one of the first to decisively focus on virtual SIMs. The new service could represent an interesting evolution for the company’s activities and an additional option for users.
