Xiaomi Focuses on Europe: A Major Investment to Grow and Expand into Other Sectors

Xiaomi wants to grow in Europe. The Chinese company, which has long been a reference in the market, aims to strengthen its presence on the continent with significant investments targeting growth in various sectors, going beyond smartphones and increasingly looking at smart home and automotive sectors.

The Future on Display at IFA 2026

Xiaomi will participate in IFA 2026, scheduled for September in Berlin, with the goal of presenting its ecosystem Human x Car x Home, closely linked to artificial intelligence. The company aims to reinforce its presence in Europe, also driven by a €7.4 billion investment in AI to be developed by 2028.

Zeng Mua, PR Director for Western Europe at Xiaomi Group, emphasized: "Participating for the first time at IFA is an important step in this journey. In September, we look forward to showing how Xiaomi's smart Human × Car × Home ecosystem can bring artificial intelligence beyond individual devices and into everyday life. The complete picture will be unveiled in Berlin, but today marks the starting point of this conversation."

Additional details will follow in the future, but it is clear that Xiaomi aims to strengthen its position in Europe, increasingly extending its presence and moving beyond the smartphone and consumer electronics sectors, where the company also operates with tablets, wearables, and other products.

The goal is to grow in the smart home sector as well. We cannot rule out an attempt to enter the four-wheeled sector, where Xiaomi is carving out a leading space with its electric models in China. More details will be available in the near future.
