OnePlus Invites Users to Try OPPO Devices: Is the Farewell to Europe Approaching?

In recent months, OnePlus has launched several products, including smartphones, tablets, and headphones. All these new items share a common element: they have not been distributed in Europe.

The reason for this choice may be linked to the brand downsizing program, which, as clarified by some rumors, is expected to focus on China, India, and a few other Asian markets for its future.

Is this a passing of the torch to OPPO? An indirect confirmation has recently emerged. The German site of OnePlus is indeed inviting users to purchase some OPPO devices (the parent company of the brand) with the following message:

"Looking for new technology that offers everything you expect from OnePlus devices? OPPO has the speed you need and the experience you trust, for fast and smooth workflows. We have selected a range of OPPO products equipped with the latest hardware and high-performance software that you already know and appreciate, all designed to ensure perfect compatibility with existing OnePlus technology."

Among the recommended products are smartphones, headphones, and smartwatches. Currently, there are no further confirmations and no precise details regarding OnePlus's current situation.

However, the picture seems to be clear. The OnePlus brand is gradually reducing its presence in Europe, to make way for OPPO and Realme (another brand now directly controlled by OPPO). We will see if there are any updates in the coming weeks. OnePlus could remain in Europe but focus exclusively on the high-end segment, or it might progressively stop selling new products, limiting its reach to certain markets.
