Galaxy Ring 2, Samsung Confirms Development: New Features May Include iPhone Support

The Samsung Galaxy Ring 2 is on the way and development is underway. This is not a leak but an official confirmation from Hon Pak, Vice President and Head of the Digital Health Team at Samsung, during an interview with Forbes.

The new generation of the Korean company's smart ring could introduce several innovations, aiming to add compatibility with iPhones, significantly expanding the number of potential customers, especially since Apple has yet to launch its own smart ring (although development is reportedly in progress). Here are the first details about the project.

The Galaxy Ring 2 is in Development

Samsung is developing the second generation of its smart ring, with the goal of offering a more comprehensive device rich in strengths. The company aims to integrate new features, improving the hardware and enhancing interaction with other devices, such as Galaxy smartwatches and even SmartThings appliances.

Pak, when directly asked, did not deny support for Apple devices and iPhones. This behavior could be seen as an indirect confirmation that Samsung is working on the project, but there is still no definitive answer.

The Galaxy Ring 2 is in development, but currently, there is no launch date announced. The model will not be presented soon and will therefore not be featured at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled in a few weeks.
