Vivo X Fold 6 is official and will arrive in Italy
The Vivo smartphone lineup is further enriched with the launch of the new Vivo X Fold 6, which has just been officially unveiled in China. Vivo's new foldable aims to become the new benchmark for photography in the world of foldable devices, as the company itself emphasizes. Vivo has also confirmed that its foldable will arrive in Italy "by 2026".
Vivo X Fold 6 Aims to Impress
Following the success of the X300 Ultra, the Vivo X Fold 6 intends to captivate users with its camera system, developed in collaboration with ZEISS. The smartphone features three rear cameras: a main ZEISS camera with 200 MP, a ZEISS APO telephoto lens with 50 MP, and a ZEISS ultra-wide camera with 50 MP, along with the proprietary Vivo BlueImage Imaging Chip V3+. There is also support for the Telephoto Extender Gen 21 accessory with an equivalent focal length of 200 mm.
As confirmed by the company in previous days, the foldable is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC and features a 7,000 mAh BlueVolt battery, supporting 80W fast charging and 40W wireless charging.
The 8.02-inch foldable display works alongside a 6.51-inch external display. Both panels are LTPO at 120 Hz with a peak brightness of 5000 nits. The large foldable display is utilized in a "serial" mode that allows for the use of five apps (one on the main screen and the other four on secondary screens). There is also a "parallel" mode to run four apps simultaneously.
The Vivo X Fold 6 is set to arrive in Europe, including Italy, during 2026. Further details will be revealed later.
