OPPO has found a way to improve its cameraphone: the next generation will feature a new sensor
The photographic sector represents one of the main elements for a complete evaluation of high-end smartphones. In recent months, the market has witnessed the launch of several cameraphones, with excellent specifications and truly outstanding performance. A notable example is the OPPO Find X9 Ultra, a model praised with excellent reviews in Hardware Upgrade.
OPPO is already looking to the future. New rumors this week have revealed the first information about the next generation, OPPO Find X10 Ultra. The company may have found a way to improve its cameraphone. Here are the details.
Early insights about the future OPPO Find X10 Ultra
The generational leap of OPPO's cameraphone will focus on the photographic sector, particularly the telephoto lens with the adoption of a larger sensor (moving from 1/2.75" to 1/1.95"). The other specifications will remain unchanged, featuring a 50 MP sensor with a 230 mm equivalent focal length for 10x optical zoom. From the available information, the sensor to be used will not be the Sony LYT-600, but it is still unclear which model OPPO will select for the telephoto lens of its future cameraphone.
The new OPPO Find X10 Ultra is expected to hit the market only in the first part of 2027. There is still plenty of time to assess the features of the project. The initial information is clear. OPPO aims to replicate the success of the Find X9 Ultra and seeks to further enhance the specifications of the photographic sector, elevating the level even higher. More details will come in the following weeks.
