Fastweb Power Control is Born, the New Service to Manage and Monitor Electricity Consumption at Home

Fastweb + Vodafone enriches its ecosystem of services with the launch of Fastweb Power Control, a new solution designed to better manage electricity consumption, a segment in which the company is active as a supplier under the Fastweb Energia brand and with combined offers with telecommunications services.

How Fastweb Power Control Works

Fastweb Power Control combines Power Control Plug, the smart plug associated with the service, and an integrated digital experience in the MyFastweb and My Vodafone apps. In this way, users have the ability to monitor real-time consumption, receiving notifications in case of relevant energy events and accessing useful data to understand their consumption habits.

The service works simply and can be utilized thanks to the Chain 2 remote management functionality, available on second-generation meters. Configuration is quick: just plug the Power Control Plug into a household outlet and set up the service via the app. Within 24/48 hours from the configuration, it will be possible to obtain the first data through the dedicated dashboard.

The service is accessible to customers of any supplier and can be requested directly online, with the option to deactivate at any time. The one-time price is €19.95 per device and €3 per month (but on promotion at €1 per month for activations by August 31) for usage. The project was realized in collaboration with partners such as Sinapsi, Veos AI, and SBS.
