DXC and Anthropic Join Forces to Bring AI to Mission-Critical Business Systems

DXC Technology and Anthropic

DXC Technology and Anthropic have signed a multi-year agreement to integrate Claude into the mission-critical systems managed by DXC for large enterprises and public administrations. Through this agreement, DXC becomes one of the few Global Premier Partners of the Claude Partner Network and strengthens an existing collaboration on the use of Anthropic models in managed services.

The goal is not to introduce AI as a separate layer but to integrate it into the operational, application, and infrastructural systems that DXC manages for entities operating in critical sectors like banks, airlines, insurance companies, manufacturing firms, and government agencies. This approach differs from isolated experiments; it involves regulated environments, critical processes, legacy applications, and services that must remain available.

Claude at the Core of DXC OASIS

The partnership also arises from DXC's internal experience with Claude. Anthropic models have been used as the primary development tool to build DXC OASIS, the AI orchestration platform for managed services launched in April 2026, already utilized by over 50 clients.

According to DXC, using Claude has accelerated the software delivery of OASIS by approximately 10 times, with over 95% of the code generated by the model before human review. Claude is now the default foundation model for the platform’s agentic workflows.

The agreement fits within the framework of DXC Xponential, the model through which the company connects technologies, people, and processes for AI adoption. The partnership with Anthropic adds certified expertise on Claude and direct access to the company's resources.

Certified Claude Engineers Within Client Environments

One of the central elements of the alliance is the creation of a dedicated team of forward-deployed engineers (a hybrid role between a software engineer and a consultant). DXC will select these individuals from its technical staff, while Anthropic will train and certify them through the Anthropic Partner Academy.

The training will last 90 days and includes daily access to Claude, with progressive levels of competence in the design, implementation, and governance of agentic AI systems. DXC has also added its certification curriculum, designed to enhance the ability to operate in mission-critical environments.

The model follows the Customer Zero logic: DXC has first validated Claude within its internal operations, meeting the same security and compliance requirements faced by its clients, before delivering the same capability to customers.

Initial Offers in Insurance, Modernization, Cybersecurity, and Application Services

The first development areas will focus on insurance, cybersecurity, application services, and code modernization.

In the insurance sector, DXC will use Claude to develop agentic solutions and transform core systems based on the specific context, operational model, and strategic objectives of individual organizations.

On the modernization front, the Modernization as a Service offering will leverage Claude to accelerate the analysis, refactoring, and transformation of large-scale legacy codebases. The aim is to make a task that often remains long, costly, and difficult to govern in large enterprise environments quicker and more accurate.

In terms of cybersecurity, DXC will integrate Claude Security into a sub-agent security engineer of DXC OASIS, aimed at Security Operations Centers. The promise is to bring always-on AI capabilities to detection, analysis, and response processes.

For application services, DXC will develop OASIS agents certified by Anthropic, designed to directly incorporate Claude into the maintenance and application management environments that the company operates for clients.

"DXC helps the world’s largest banks, airlines, insurance firms, and government agencies put new technologies to work. They have first validated Claude within their operations, adhering to the same security and compliance requirements that their clients face. Now we are bringing Claude into those environments, sector by sector, with engineers who have already done this firsthand," says Paul Smith, Chief Commercial Officer of Anthropic.

"For over fifty years, DXC and the companies it originated from have managed the systems that keep the world running. We know what it takes to operate in these environments. This alliance with Anthropic combines trust and experience with the most advanced AI technology available and offers our clients something they cannot obtain elsewhere. We are already using Claude in our operations and in the new DXC OASIS platform. Now, we are bringing this capability directly into the mission-critical technology systems we manage for our clients. This is a pivotal moment for DXC and the entire sector," comments Raul Fernandez, President and CEO of DXC Technology.
