Capcom announces June Spotlight: updates coming for 3 major titles
Capcom has confirmed the organization of a new digital Spotlight event that will go live on June 25, 2026, at 2:00 PM PDT (11:00 PM Italian time) and will be broadcast across Twitch and YouTube platforms. To celebrate the announcement, the company has released a short promotional video lasting 14 seconds that teases some of the highlights of the presentation.
The event will primarily focus on three productions:
-
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection
A turn-based RPG spin-off from the popular Monster Hunter series, released in March on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. The title has received positive feedback due to its gameplay system and narrative component. Capcom had previously hinted at the arrival of new content aimed at the final phase of the adventure, and the Spotlight could be the opportunity to delve into the introduction of Royal monsters and other expected updates. -
Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen
An expansion of the open-world action RPG launched in 2024. Officially announced earlier this month, this expansion will also be available on Nintendo Switch 2. Among the main additions is the new region of Norgan, a snow-covered territory that will offer new equipment, skills, and weapons. New dragons will also be present to battle, further expanding the possibilities offered by the combat system. Many fans remember how the Dark Arisen expansion of the first Dragon's Dogma added a significant amount of content, helping to revitalize the game on multiple platforms. It remains to be seen if the new chapter will follow the same philosophy. -
Onimusha: Way of the Sword
The new episode of the historic Capcom series. Scheduled for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2, the game marks the return of the franchise after twenty years of absence since the last main installment, Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams from 2006.
