The Lawn Takes Care of Itself: MOVA LiDAX Ultra and the Summer Without a Lawnmower in Hand

As relaxing as gardening can be, the arrival of summer heat and the rapid growth of grass demand more practical solutions to prevent our little green patch from turning into an untamed forest.

MOVA, a brand specialized in smart home technology, presents the LiDAX Ultra series of robotic lawn mowers, which distinguishes itself from traditional lawn mowers with its sophisticated lawn management capabilities. The discounts from Prime Day offer the opportunity to purchase the LiDAX Ultra series robotic lawn mowers at a more convenient price: not only do you save effort, but also a considerable amount of money.

MOVA LiDAX Ultra 800

Price: €785

Discover the Prime Day discounts with MOVA LiDAX Ultra, delivering a professional cut with a common technological heart: UltraView 2.0 and UltraTrim 1.0.

The series is based on a clear philosophy: to put in the hands (or rather, on the lawn) of the user a system capable of managing the grass with precision close to that of a professional. The name LiDAX refers to LiDAR technology, used in self-driving cars, allowing the robot to map every inch of the garden, detecting obstacles, inclines, and complex areas in real-time.

The range includes five models designed for different needs: LiDAX Ultra 800, suitable for medium-small gardens; LiDAX Ultra 1000 and LiDAX Ultra 1200, for larger areas; and LiDAX Ultra 1600 and 2000, designed for extensive and complex lawns. This composition allows you to identify the most suitable solution based on the size and morphology of your green space. All models come with off-road wheels, handle slopes of up to 45%, and can overcome vertical obstacles up to 4 cm. The IPX6 certification ensures high water resistance, making the robots usable even in rain, with weather conditions monitored automatically via an integrated sensor.

The technical features are common to all models, based on UltraView 2.0 technology, a navigation and mapping system based on 360° 3D LiDAR combined with advanced AI vision. Thanks to this combination, the robot automatically maps the garden in 3D with centimeter precision, without the need to install perimeter wires or RTK stations. Within minutes of powering on, the lawn map is ready, and the robot can even cut at night, in low light conditions or with weak GPS signals, operating completely independently.

The management of fine-tuning operations is governed by UltraTrim 1.0 technology, which allows the robot to get within 5 cm of walls, hedges, and raised edges thanks to a mobile disk that covers the most difficult spaces. The floating cutting system dynamically adapts to the contours of the terrain, while the cutting height can be adjusted via an app between 3 and 10 cm. The robot follows a U-shaped path planning to ensure uniform coverage of the entire area, and when the battery is low, it automatically returns to the charging station to then resume exactly from where it left off. An Animal-Friendly mode is also available: using 3D point cloud data and AI, the robot detects and avoids over 300 types of obstacles, from large garden furniture to small animals, with the ability to set personalized activity zones and a low-speed mode for extra caution.

TrueGuard: The Robot Becomes a Garden Guardian

The LiDAX Ultra Series integrates TrueGuard, an intelligent surveillance system that transforms the robot into an active garden guardian 24/7. Through the MOVAhome app, the user can access a live video feed, receive instant alerts for detected human activity, activate automated patrols during non-operating hours, and communicate live via two-way audio. Additionally, there is comprehensive anti-theft protection: real-time 4G tracking (available on the high-end models 1600 and 2000), anti-lift alarm, and a dedicated slot for AirTag.

Everything is manageable via the MOVAhome app, with support for independent double maps, up to 150 customizable zones, differentiated seasonal programming, creative cutting patterns (heart, checkerboard, crossed), and five operational modes: complete cut, by zones, edges, point cutting, and manual.

The robust and compact design makes LiDAX Ultra models suitable for working in varying conditions, deftly tackling irregular lawns, moderate slopes, and areas with dense vegetation, avoiding the troublesome bare patches or repeated passes that characterize less sophisticated robots.

In Italy, the LiDAX Ultra Series is distributed through OBI, Brico io, and Agrieuro, as well as on the official MOVA website and on Amazon. During Prime Day, the entry-level model LiDAX Ultra 800 (suitable for areas up to 800 square meters) is reduced from €949 to €785, with a discount of €164 (-17%) valid from June 15 to July 5. Among other models, which increase in size and performance, up to the 2000 model designed for the largest gardens, the LiDAX Ultra 1200 is also on offer at the price of €899, with a €200 discount valid until July 5.
