A retailer revealed the euro prices for GTA 6: will it start from €89.99?
In recent days, Rockstar announced the opening of pre-orders for GTA 6. The date to mark on your calendar is June 25. The release date remains set for November 19.
In these hours, a Portuguese retailer (the local chain FNAC) published the prices for the three editions of the game. This is not an official announcement, and it cannot be excluded that it is an error. Here are all the details that have emerged in these hours leading up to the opening of pre-orders for the game.
How much will GTA 6 cost?
GTA 6 will only be available for PS5 and Xbox Series X and S consoles, at least at launch. Users should have three editions available:
- Standard Edition
- Deluxe Edition
- Collector's Edition
The contents of the various editions of the game are still unknown. However, according to information reported by FNAC, the prices could be €89.99, €119.99, and €199.99. There are no official confirmations. The leaker billbil-kun, usually well-informed, believes that these prices are incorrect.
The idea that GTA 6 might cost more than other AAA titles has been circulating online for some time, and many analysts have already anticipated this hypothesis, which would allow Rockstar to further increase revenues and reduce the time needed to recoup the investment made in the game's development.
For now, however, Rockstar has never confirmed this possibility. Official prices will, in any case, only be announced at the time of the opening of pre-orders. We will know more shortly.
