UWANT V800: Goodbye to the Rotating Roller, the Cordless Vacuum Reinvented
If we talk about "stick" vacuums, the rotating roller has been an essential component for decades. While it has ensured solid performance, on the other hand, it has represented the weak point of every household maintenance: tangled hair, long fibers caught, and frequent clogs forced users to undertake ungratifying manual interventions.
UWANT, a fast-growing brand in the smart home sector, has decided to rewrite this paradigm with the new V800, which we experienced live in Milan at a dedicated event last week.
ShakeSweep: Mechanical Innovation
The main novelty of the V800 lies in the total absence of the roller. Thanks to the proprietary ShakeSweep technology, the classic rotating cylinder is replaced by a high-frequency vibration mechanism capable of cleaning surfaces by acting directly on dirt. The result of this engineering choice is a flow of air free from any mechanical obstacles.
According to the data provided by the company, derived from the analysis of over 5 million households and almost a million minutes of user feedback, the elimination of the roller is the definitive answer to the problem of tangles. In this way, pet hair and fibers are directly sucked into the container, with no possibility of wrapping around rotating components.
Power and Vision
The technical sector does not limit itself to the removal of the roller. The UWANT V800 boasts impressive suction power of 320 AW (40,000 Pa), designed to extract dirt even from the deepest crevices. Supporting this power is a green light illumination system with a beam width of 60 cm and an angle of 150°, a solution that allows for the instant detection of the finest dust particles that would otherwise remain invisible on reflective or poorly lit floors.
Hands-Free Ecosystem
The user experience is completed with the charging base. UWANT has abandoned overhead charging docks in favor of a flush-mounted docking station. The vacuum is placed horizontally in a sealed system that minimizes dust dispersion. Once docked, the dual-ring automatic emptying system comes into play, cleaning the internal tank by removing even micro-residues. The dirt ends up in a 3-liter antibacterial bag, equipped with grade 11 filtration, designed to ensure months of autonomy before being replaced.
