Microsoft Updates Surface Line with Snapdragon X2 Models: Prices Starting from €1,629

Microsoft has announced the launch of its new range of Surface devices for consumer customers. The big news is the debut of the new Snapdragon X2, offered in both Plus and Elite variants. The new models are three: Surface Pro 13 inches (12th edition), Surface Laptop 13.8 inches, and 15 inches (8th edition). This is a refresh compared to the previous generation.

The Surface Pro 12 inches, equipped with Snapdragon X Plus, and the Surface Laptop 13 inches, still featuring the first generation of Snapdragon chips, remain available on the market. All models are available for pre-order on the Microsoft store. It is worth noting that in recent weeks, the company announced the debut of the Laptop Ultra with NVIDIA RTX Spark and launched the versions with Intel Core Ultra 300 of the Surface for business customers.

Prices of the New Surface Models

The Surface Pro 13 inches is available with prices starting from €1,629. The base version features an LCD display and the X2 Plus 10-core chip, along with 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of SSD.

For the version with an OLED panel, prices start from €1,929, with a configuration using Snapdragon X2 Elite, 16 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of SSD. The top-of-the-line version with OLED display, X2 Elite, 64 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of SSD costs €3,729. The power adapter, pen, and keyboard cover are sold separately. With all the accessories, the price exceeds €4,000.

As for the Surface Laptop, there is a dual choice. The 13.8-inch version starts at €1,729, while the 15-inch version starts at €1,829. In both cases, the devices feature the X2 Plus chip, 16 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of SSD. The top-of-the-line version reaches €2,979 (X2 Elite, 32 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of SSD with a 15-inch panel), still without an included power adapter.
