HONOR Magic 9: the future flagship will also feature a stylus with AI functions

In the second half of the year, we expect the debut of the new HONOR Magic 9 series, which, like all other models in the Magic range, will have 7 years of updates. Among the new features arriving for HONOR's smartphone series will be support for a stylus with integrated AI functionalities. This is a trend reversal compared to Samsung, which has chosen to create a version of its flagship Ultra without a pen and with more compact dimensions (the Galaxy S27 Pro).

A first for HONOR

Currently, information is limited. The HONOR Magic 9 series is expected to present three smartphones, and at least one of these will be compatible with the stylus, equipped with AI functions. It is unclear whether the pen will be integrated within the chassis, with a dedicated slot similar to Samsung's Ultra series products, or if it will be an official accessory sold separately (or in a bundle).

HONOR is reportedly working on the development of software solutions capable of leveraging the stylus, with several native apps already ready and the possibility of extending support to third-party apps as well.

Let’s remember that the company already includes in its product range the Magic Pen, an accessory designed to be used in conjunction with the foldable models of the Magic series.
