GOODRAM simplifies its RAM and SSD offerings: introducing the new RIVAL and PRO brands

The memory and storage manufacturer GOODRAM has announced a reorganization of its commercial offering by introducing a new brand structure aimed at making it easier to identify the different product families. The Polish manufacturer, part of Wilk Elektronik, has decided to introduce two new specialized lines alongside its main brand GOODRAM: GOODRAM RIVAL, targeted at the gaming segment and enthusiast users, and GOODRAM PRO, aimed at professionals and creators.

According to the company, the increasing complexity of the memory and SSD market makes it more difficult for many users to navigate among different technical specifications, names, and product lines. The new organization is therefore designed to simplify the selection process, allowing users to immediately identify the target use of each product.

In the new structure, GOODRAM will continue to represent the umbrella brand of the entire portfolio and will remain associated with solutions intended for everyday use, such as home computers, notebooks, and systems for office and multimedia activities. The new GOODRAM RIVAL line will be dedicated to gamers and users seeking superior performance, with products designed for gaming PCs, hardware upgrades, and configurations aimed at maximum performance.

On the other hand, GOODRAM PRO will target the professional market, including solutions designed for activities such as video editing, graphic processing, managing large amounts of data, and prolonged workloads requiring high reliability and operational stability.

The reorganization is not limited to consumer segmentation. The company has confirmed that the new scheme will also include the GOODRAM Industrial and GOODRAM Enterprise lines, reinforcing a division of offerings that takes into account the evolution of the professional market, the growth of artificial intelligence-based applications, the development of data centers, and the increasing performance demands of users.

Among the most significant consequences of this operation is the future of the IRDM brand, which has so far been used for numerous high-performance solutions. GOODRAM has explained that IRDM products will gradually be repositioned within the new RIVAL or PRO families based on their positioning and intended use. The transition will occur gradually, and IRDM products will continue to be available on the market during the transition period.

The company emphasizes that the change only pertains to the portfolio structure and commercial communication. Technical specifications, compatibility, warranty conditions, and support services will remain unchanged. In the coming months, new packaging, a refreshed visual identity, and a gradual revision of product names will also emerge.
