AMD Leaves No Space for Intel: the Top 15 Best-Selling CPUs are All Theirs on Amazon USA

AMD has achieved a historic result in the desktop CPU market. According to the latest ranking of the best-selling processors on Amazon in the United States, the company occupies all of the top fifteen positions with models from the Ryzen family, completely excluding any Intel offerings from the top 15.

The achievement was highlighted directly by AMD's Senior Director of Marketing, Saša Marinković, who shared a screenshot of the ranking on social media accompanied by the message "15 out of 15", confirming the exclusive presence of Ryzen processors in the top fifteen positions.

At the top continues to be the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, a processor particularly appreciated by gaming enthusiasts thanks to its 3D V-Cache technology and high gaming performance. The model maintains a stable first position and in the United States it is priced around $449.

Following closely is the Ryzen 5 5500, a CPU that continues to record very high sales volumes due to its excellent quality-price ratio. This processor remains one of the most requested products in the entire AMD range and manages to maintain a sales pace comparable to that of the Ryzen 7 9800X3D.

The ranking also highlights the excellent health of the Ryzen 5000 platform. Among the models present in the top fifteen positions are the Ryzen 5 5600, Ryzen 7 5700X, and Ryzen 7 5800XT, demonstrating how AM4 socket-based solutions continue to represent a very popular choice among users seeking a good balance between cost and performance.

Particularly interesting is the market behavior towards variants equipped with X3D technology. Processors like Ryzen 7 7800X3D and Ryzen 9 9950X3D continue to occupy top positions in sales and, in many cases, outperform their respective standard variants. This data confirms user interest in gaming-optimized CPUs.

On the Intel front, the situation appears more complex. The company has received positive feedback with the recent Arrow Lake Refresh processors, but the best result in the Amazon ranking belongs to the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus. This model is considered one of the most competitive in the range due to the same number of cores and threads as the high-end Core Ultra 9 285K and superior gaming performance, at a significantly lower price.

The latest Ryzen 9 9950X3D2, on the other hand, only ranks in 25th position. The processor seems to have failed to convince part of the audience due to limited performance increases compared to the previous Ryzen 9 9950X3D, while being at a significantly higher price.

The Italian market also shows a strong presence of AMD CPUs. Among the most appreciated models are the Ryzen 7 7800X3D at €349.90, the Ryzen 7 5800X at €209.90, and the Ryzen 5 9600X at €177.94.

The emerging picture portrays the current balance of power between Intel and AMD in the CPU sector. The latter has managed to offer a competitive range in practically every price segment, a journey that began ten years ago and now rewards the efforts made by the Sunnyvale company.
