Halo: Campaign Evolved will officially debut on July 28, 2026 on Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, Steam, cloud, and PlayStation 5. Users who purchase the Premium or Collector's Edition will be able to start playing with early access up to five days prior, starting from July 23.

During the Xbox Games Showcase, a new trailer was shown for Operation: Meteorite, one of the main novelties included in the project. This narrative expansion, available in all editions of the game, takes place about a year before the events of the first Halo and features Master Chief and Sgt. Johnson as the protagonists.

The story leads players on a secret UNSC mission aboard a Covenant research ship. What initially seems like a simple retrieval task quickly transforms into a much more complex and dangerous operation.
