LG Launches Micro RGB evo AI, Mini RGB evo AI, and QNED evo AI Mini LED TV Ranges in Italy for 2026
LG launches in Italy the TV ranges Micro RGB evo AI, Mini RGB evo AI, and QNED evo AI Mini LED 2026. After unveiling the OLED evo AI collection, LG Electronics completes its TV offering for the Italian market by introducing three new ranges based on advanced LED technologies: Micro RGB evo AI, Mini RGB evo AI, and QNED evo AI Mini LED. The products are available starting today at the LG Online Shop and at major consumer electronics stores.
Micro RGB evo AI: Multicolor Technology with Triple Certification
The highest proposal in the new lineup is the LG Micro RGB evo AI range, already awarded the CES 2026 Innovation Awards. What differentiates this technology from traditional LED solutions—including Mini LEDs—is the backlighting composed of multicolor micro-LEDs, which allows for extremely granular control of both chrominance and luminance. LG claims the result is color reproduction with deep blacks, high contrast, and highly saturated colors that find no direct comparison in the LED category.
In terms of certification, the independent body Intertek has certified this range for 100% coverage of the BT.2020 color space, 100% DCI-P3, and 100% Adobe RGB, a combination that LG positions as unprecedented for the category. This compliance makes it potentially suitable not only for home enjoyment of HDR and cinematic content but also for professional contexts such as digital editing and broadcasting.
Local brightness management is handled by the Micro Dimming Ultra technology, which divides the panel into over a thousand independent dimming zones (the exact number varies according to the diagonal), allowing for precise modulation of backlighting in high dynamic range scenes.
At the heart of the signal processing is the α11 Gen3 AI processor, the same chip so far reserved for LG's OLED lineup, introduced here for the first time in a LED backlighting technology. The processor integrates a Dual AI Engine with Dual Super Upscaling technology, which manages two upscaling streams in parallel to yield sharper and more natural 4K images from lower resolution sources. The color component is further optimized by the RGB Primary Color Ultra technology, which leverages the chip's processing power to map the entire visible spectrum with high precision.
The Micro RGB evo AI range is available in the MRGB96 series, with diagonals of 75, 86, and 100 inches, priced starting from €4,999, €6,299, and €12,999 respectively.
Mini RGB evo AI: Multicolor Backlighting in a More Accessible Format
The LG Mini RGB evo AI range sits one step down the technological hierarchy, yet it inherits the multicolor backlighting principle from the Micro RGB solution and applies it to a Mini LED structure. The declared goal is to extend the benefits of RGB color control to a wider audience, providing a rendering of nuances and color intensity superior to conventional white backlit Mini LEDs.
For this range, Intertek has also released two color fidelity certifications: 100% DCI-P3 and 100% Adobe RGB. The processor installed is the new α8 Gen3 AI, described by LG as five times smarter than the previous generation, focusing on intelligent backlighting management through the Precision Dimming function, ensuring depth in blacks and brightness in highlights.
The MRGB87 series covers diagonals from 50 to 86 inches, with prices ranging from €1,199 (50") to €3,799 (86").
QNED evo AI Mini LED: Up to 115 Inches for the Large Screen Segment
The third range introduced, LG QNED evo AI Mini LED, focuses on size: LG expands its Mini LED offering with two new reference models—the 115-inch QNED93B (available from July 2026) and the 100-inch QNED87B, both designed for installations in large environments.
The two series adopt differentiated local dimming systems: the QNED93B uses Precision Dimming Ultra technology, while the QNED87B features Precision Dimming Pro, with the common aim of precisely modulating backlighting in high-contrast scenes. Signal processing is managed by a processor equipped with AI Super Upscaling, based on deep learning, which optimizes textures, edges, and details in real-time for a more defined 4K output even on large format screens.
In terms of pricing, the QNED87B range starts at €499 for the 43-inch diagonal and goes up to €3,299 for the 100-inch model, while the QNED93B series ranges from €1,099 (55") to €11,999 (115").
webOS, Integrated AI, and New Software Features
All three ranges share the webOS platform and integration with multiple AI assistants via the pointer remote, including Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot, which can be used for contextual searches during viewing. On the video processing front, LG introduces the HDR Remastering feature, capable of analyzing SDR content and converting it to HDR in real-time, expanding compatibility with the vast catalog of non-natively high dynamic range content.
