Fewer Fans, More Cooling: Phanteks Reinvents the Concept of PC Cases
At Computex 2026, Phanteks showcased one of the broadest product lines in recent years, introducing new cases, cooling systems, fans, and power supplies aimed at both gaming enthusiasts and professional users. At the center of the presentation is the new EX family, a new compartmentalized chassis concept that, according to Phanteks, provides thermal separation that makes heat dissipation more efficient.
The new design philosophy aims to deliver fresh air directly to the system's main components without recirculation, featuring dedicated zones for the CPU, GPU, and power supply. A dedicated side fan also contributes to cooling the motherboard, VRM, and M.2 units. This would reduce the need for a high number of fans to create a single airflow that encompasses the entire setup.
The flagship model is the EX6, made with aluminum outer panels and designed for enthusiast configurations. The chassis offers independent cooling paths for the main heat-generating components and supports large hardware. The EX6 MAX variant integrates a 250 mm fan, an LCD display with a resolution of 1600x720 pixels, custom AIO liquid cooling with 90-degree routing, and a NEXLINQ controller for lighting monitoring and management. Prices will be €159.99 for the EX6 and €329.99 for the EX6 MAX.
Alongside the EX6 series, a more affordable model, the EX5, built from steel but developed on the same thermal configuration, debuts. Again, the CPU, GPU, and power supply enjoy independent intake paths, while side cooling supports the motherboard components. The EX5 PLUS and EX5 MAX versions add integrated liquid cooling and, in the higher model, a 6-inch LCD display. Prices will be €109.99, €159.99, and €229.99, respectively.
Phanteks has also expanded its gaming offerings with a new XT series, consisting of the XT M5, XT V5, and XT V5-LCD models. These are compact ATX cases that maintain compatibility with 360 mm radiators, large graphics cards, and standard ATX power supplies. The XT M5 features a fully mesh front panel and supports up to ten 120 mm fans. The expected price for the European market is €69.90, with availability expected in early July. Also priced at €69.90, the XT V5 emphasizes a panoramic design with tempered glass panels and dedicated GPU cooling through three positions for bottom fans.
The most advanced version, XT V5-LCD, integrates a 7-inch display connected to the NEXLINQ ecosystem for system monitoring and customization. The price is set at €109.90, with availability expected in September.
For the professional segment, the update to the Enthoo line debuts. The new Enthoo Pro 2 Server V2 supports SSI-EEB motherboards, dual power supplies, and eleven PCI slots. The launch is expected in July at a price of €199.99.
More extreme is the new Enthoo Elite Server, designed for high-density workstations and servers. The chassis offers support for twelve PCI slots, advanced storage configurations, dual power supplies, and up to 29 positions for 120 mm fans. The expected price is €349.99.
Significant innovations also come to the cooling sector. The new S25 fan family introduces a unified design available in single, dual, and triple configurations. The fans feature integrated ARGB lighting, normal or reverse flow versions, and speeds of up to 2000 RPM. Prices start at €7.90 for the 120S25 version, reach €13.90 for the 240S25, and up to €19.90 for the 360S25.
Also entering the catalog is the Glacier One S25-SE liquid cooler, equipped with the S25 fan featuring a unified frame, a large copper plate, and compatibility with Intel LGA 1700, LGA 1851, and AMD AM5 sockets. The expected price for the 360 mm model is €79.90.
For the high-end segment, Phanteks also showcased the new X30 fans, characterized by a monoblock aluminum structure with a thickness of 30 mm, diffused ARGB lighting, and single cable installation. Prices start at €19.99 for the single version and go up to €69.99 for the Starter Kit.
The X30 is utilized in the new high-end cooling system, the Glacier One 360X30-LCD, a 360 mm AIO featuring a 6-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1480x720 pixels. Through NEXLINQ, users can view telemetry, custom content, and system information. The announced price is €179.99.
The overview closes with the new AMP GN 1200W power supply, based on GaN MOSFET technology. The unit aims to increase power density and thermal efficiency while maintaining compact dimensions. Thanks to USB connectivity and integration with NEXLINQ, the power supply allows for real-time monitoring of wattage and efficiency directly from the Phanteks software ecosystem. The company has yet to announce the official price or availability date.
