Cooler Master at Computex 2026: Silent Cases, Aluminum Fans, and Liquid-Cooled Workstations for AI

At Computex 2026 in Taipei, Cooler Master has chosen to showcase its innovations directly at its offices, just a short walk from the fair. The message is clear from the outset: after years of diversifying into different market segments, the company is returning to its historical identity as a cooling specialist, focusing investments and innovation on thermal management of PC systems, from fans to cases, to workstations and data centers.

The first of two new cases is the Cooler Master Silencio 600, the latest evolution of a programmatically named family, expected to debut by the end of 2026. It is a large chassis designed for complex gaming builds, emphasizing silent operation through two structural solutions. The first features two 180 mm diameter fans that, rotating at low speeds, ensure a high airflow without generating excessive noise. The second is a front panel made from sound-absorbing material that absorbs acoustic vibrations and profiles the airflow to eliminate turbulence. Inside, there’s also a dedicated indentation that channels air to the GPU and a top profile that allows the motherboard memories to breathe, all aimed at achieving efficient cooling and silent operation simultaneously.

The second case, the HAF II 2500, comes from an unusual approach: it was designed starting from the fan, specifically from two models in the new lineup. The front panel houses two units from the Mighty 40 series: one 220 mm variant and one 180 mm. The exceptional sizes allow operation at very low rotational speeds while still providing high airflow, benefiting both temperatures and noise levels. As with the Silencio 600, an internal front indentation optimizes the direction of airflow inside the chassis. The overall design is deliberately understated, avoiding excessive lighting, with a paramount focus on thermal efficiency.

Noteworthy is the Cooler Master Cube 540, which received recognition at the European Hardware Awards 2026. This case originates from dialogue with the community of modders, historically one of Cooler Master’s most loyal audiences. Available in different finishes including stainless steel and wood panels, it features structural openings designed to accommodate custom accessories, such as 3D-printed headphone stands. A product that combines artisanal aesthetics, good internal cooling, and great construction flexibility.

One of the most technically significant innovations is the new series of MasterFan A fans, made entirely of aluminum. The key advantage over traditional plastic fans is the rigidity of the material: not bending, the blades can get much closer to the inner edge of the housing, achieving a tolerance of only 0.6 mm compared to the typical millimeter of standard fans. This seemingly minimal reduction has a significant impact on turbulence reduction, overall airflow, and noise levels. Alongside the MasterFan A is the MasterFan M, currently in development, which adopts a hybrid approach with an aluminum outer structure and high-precision plastic alloy blades for a tolerance of 0.8 mm, sitting between the two technologies.

Particularly innovative is the solution developed in collaboration with G.SKILL, a dedicated active cooling system for DDR5 memory modules. A 30 mm fan combined with a specific heat dissipation structure allows for a drop in operating temperatures of 15°C, addressing the increasing thermal demands of high-frequency DDR5 memory, where heat management is becoming a critical factor, just like for CPUs and GPUs.

Cooler Master also introduces the concept of Project MasterFrame, complete workstation systems where the company manages the entire thermal subsystem while allowing flexibility in the choice of CPU, motherboard, and GPU. The MasterFrame 600 is a graphic workstation based on AMD Ryzen Threadripper with integrated liquid cooling for CPU and GPU. The MasterFrame 800 is the even more powerful version, equipped with wheels for mobility, featuring a single Threadripper paired with four GPUs dedicated to parallel computing and a large rear radiator to cool the entire system. Both solutions target offices and small businesses that require high computing power in a manageable format.

Often little known to the general public but strategically crucial, Cooler Master’s enterprise and data center division boasts nearly thirty years of experience. At Computex, the company showcases Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) solutions with a Cold Plate directly on the processors and Coolant Distribution Unit (CDU) solutions of up to 350 kW of dissipative capacity. Huge machines of this type are essential for managing racks of GPUs for artificial intelligence with consumption of up to 100 kW per cabinet. Cooler Master is converting its experience to enable the operation of such systems and is now one of the leading suppliers of cooling solutions for major players like Meta and Google.
