Claw 8 EX AI+: MSI Emphasizes Intel Arc G3 Extreme GPUs
With Claw 8 EX AI+, MSI equips the new handheld gaming device with Intel Arc G3 Extreme processors, a platform specifically designed for portable gaming. The device combines Intel Xe graphics architecture with support for XeSS 3 and Multi-Frame Generation, technologies aimed at increasing fluidity and frame rates in the latest AAA titles.
The console features an 8-inch 120 Hz VRR display, designed to reduce tearing and stuttering during gameplay. MSI has also redesigned the ergonomics of the chassis, introducing more pronounced grips, triggers, and analog sticks with Hall Effect sensors, along with an optimized D-pad to enhance precision and responsiveness in controls.
Among its distinctive features is a new linear motor for haptic feedback, designed to offer faster and more detailed vibrations while maintaining low power consumption. On the software front, Claw 8 EX AI+ supports a dedicated Xbox mode for quick game launches and immediate session resumes.
MSI will offer the device in Void Purple, with a design reminiscent of the latest premium handheld consoles.
