iPhone Ultra: Apple May Delay the Launch of Its Foldable

Apple is expected to launch its new iPhone Ultra, the first foldable smartphone in its lineup, during the traditional September event, which will also see the debut of the iPhone 18 Pro. However, the use of conditional language is necessary as Apple seems to be encountering some production difficulties.

Launch at Risk

In recent days, some leaks have emerged suggesting potential production issues for the iPhone Ultra. One source focuses on the pre-assembling phase while another highlights the hinge. At the moment, there are no further confirmations, but it is clear that if even one of these reports is confirmed, the risk of a delayed launch for the smartphone becomes increasingly real.

Back in April, some delays in the iPhone Ultra roadmap were already reported, and to meet deadlines, it should enter production by July. Additionally, there may be supplier issues, with Apple still seeking an agreement to ensure the timely delivery of all necessary components at the right prices.

For now, the debut of the new iPhone Ultra is scheduled for September, but the situation will need to be closely monitored in the coming weeks, and the possibility of a postponement cannot be excluded. Following the misstep of the iPhone Air, which went almost unnoticed thanks to stellar sales of the iPhone 17, Apple aims not to make further mistakes, and its new Ultra must hit the market in the best possible way.
