A New Competence Center on IBM Fusion by Computer Gross
The new Competence Center of Computer Gross is "the result of significant investments in terms of dedicated resources and expertise," as stated by the company. It is created to help businesses adopt the IBM Fusion platform with a consulting approach through demos, proof of concepts, and concrete projects.
IBM Fusion is a solution available both as software and as a combination of software and hardware, intended to centralize data storage and management—an especially relevant topic in the era of artificial intelligence.
Through this new competence center, Computer Gross aims to promote the use of IBM Fusion in Italy and the skills associated with it, as well as to create specific use cases for various vertical sectors.
"IBM started 2026 by reinforcing its ecosystem strategy to be closer to local businesses together with its partners," declared Roberta Bavaro, Director of the Ecosystem and Local Businesses at IBM Italy.
"The newly inaugurated Competence Center dedicated to IBM Fusion from Computer Gross will be crucial to support companies in their modernization journey, reducing operational complexity and accelerating data management for AI projects, thereby increasing their competitiveness."
"With IBM Fusion, we provide companies with a turnkey platform to address application modernization and data protection in native cloud environments. It integrates automation, resilience, and data protection into a single solution, accelerating deployment, ensuring operational continuity, and reducing complexity," stated Marco Ballan, Director of IBM Italy Infrastructure.
"IBM Fusion also enables secure, scalable hybrid and multicloud environments ready for mission-critical workloads. Thanks to its versatility, Fusion is the ideal architecture for hosting enterprise-level virtualization environments. This new Competence Center is designed to guide companies through a concrete journey, combining technology, skills, and real use cases."
