Sony Announces Free Games for PlayStation Plus Essential Subscribers for June 2026

Sony has officially announced the three games that will enter the monthly catalog of PlayStation Plus Essential for the month of June 2026. Subscribers to the service will be able to redeem the new titles from June 2 to July 6, while retaining access to the games for as long as their PlayStation Plus subscription remains active on any of the available tiers.

The most notable title in the selection is probably Grounded: Fully Yoked Edition, developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Xbox Game Studios. The game was initially launched in 2020 in early access on Xbox and PC, before receiving its full version in 2022. Subsequently, in 2024, the title also arrived on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch as part of Xbox's multi-platform strategy for some of its first-party games.

Grounded offers a miniature survival experience where players must survive in a garden transformed into a hostile environment after being shrunk. The Fully Yoked Edition includes all the updates released to date.
