Samsung Beats Apple in Customer Satisfaction Among American Consumers

This week, the new American Customer Satisfaction Index's 2026 Telecommunications, Cell Phone, and Smartwatch Study was released. This survey aims to highlight the level of satisfaction of U.S. customers regarding certain product categories.

The survey shows a particularly interesting result: Samsung has outperformed Apple in customer satisfaction in the smartphone sector, which has been dominated by the Cupertino company in the U.S. market. The survey was conducted between April 2025 and March 2026 and confirms the reliability of the Korean company, which, despite not matching Apple in units sold, fully satisfies its customers.

A remarkable result: Samsung has been performing very well recently and has managed to gain the trust of its users, achieving a score of 81% in terms of customer satisfaction in the smartphone sector. Apple, on the other hand, has to settle for 80%.

The data becomes even more interesting when considering the level of satisfaction among customers who purchased a new flagship. Among owners of a new Galaxy S, satisfaction reaches 84%, while owners of a new iPhone stop at 82%. Google is further behind: the Pixels receive a score of 80%.

It is noteworthy that Samsung also captures solid leadership among foldable phones, a sector preparing for the arrival of Apple. The Korean company scored 80%, which is 8 points higher than second-place Google. Finally, for the smartwatch segment, there is a tie between Apple and Samsung, both at 80%.
