HONOR Magic 9: larger battery and other news for the brand's future flagship models

HONOR is carving out an increasingly significant space in the market year after year. After the European launch of the HONOR 600, the company is looking to the future and is working on the HONOR Magic 9 series, set to debut in the second half of 2026, at least in China. A new leak has revealed some specifications.

Initial Information on the New HONOR Smartphones

According to the first details, the HONOR Magic 9 series will consist of three smartphones. At least one of these will feature an 8,000 mAh battery, marking a step up from the previous generation, which is capped at 7,200 mAh, thus ensuring even greater autonomy. Fast charging and wireless charging will also be supported.

Across the range, there will be an OLED panel with Full HD+ resolution, and it is anticipated to include a main sensor of 200 Megapixels for the photography department, with the potential for new advanced functions for image stabilization during video recording. Among the specifications, there will also be room for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 SoC, likely available in the top-tier Pro version. Performance will thus be top-notch, with the chip paired with a high-end RAM and storage configuration.

The debut of the new HONOR Magic 9 is still far off. The company typically tends to unveil its flagship models in October, with the arrival in Europe scheduled for the following months.
