Claude is Becoming More Popular and Aims to Enter the Top 3 Most Used AI Chatbots

AI chatbots are increasingly popular among users, and one of the leading players at the moment is definitely Claude, the chatbot from Anthropic that is carving out a more significant space for itself.

The confirmation comes from an analysis by Comscore dedicated to the market in the United States and the use of AI chatbots on desktop. Thus, this is not a complete statistic, but an interesting "snapshot" of the current market (the data is updated to March 2026).

The increase in users is also accompanied by a substantial growth in Anthropic's profits, which is strengthening financially quarter by quarter.

Claude Approaches the Top 3

The Top 3 most used chatbots is not surprising, with ChatGPT counting on a massive advantage but with a growth of only 18.9% on a monthly basis. The second position is held by Gemini, which grew by 29.1%, and third place goes to Copilot, with an impressive growth of 44.4%. The most interesting data concerns the fourth position, where Claude is a major player.

With 2.66 million users, the chatbot from Anthropic has clearly outpaced smaller competitors (Grok, DeepSeek, and Perplexity). Moreover, Claude is experiencing significant growth with an excellent +130.1% on a monthly basis.

In the coming months, Claude can aim for the third position, especially given a growth factor significantly higher than that of Copilot. An additional step forward may come in the future, aided by the many new features recently released by Anthropic and the ability to compete, in various aspects, with rival services.
