POCO has announced a new tablet: with the right price it could be a good low-cost option

POCO continues to expand its product range, and the latest addition is the POCO Pad C1, a compact and economical tablet designed for users looking for a good-priced product or even a tablet for children. It’s worth noting that towards the end of last year, the brand launched two high-end tablets. Here are all the specifications.

Specifications

The technical sheet of the POCO Pad C1 includes a 9.7-inch IPS display with 2K resolution, a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a peak brightness of 600 nits.
The tablet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 SoC, supported by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage (though other configurations may arrive), along with a 7,600 mAh battery with 18 W wired charging.
It also features an audio jack and supports 4G connectivity. The operating system is Android 16 with HyperOS. The POCO tablet is essentially a rebrand of the Redmi Pad 2 9.7, recently unveiled by Xiaomi.

Available in Europe?

The POCO Pad C1 has been officially announced with a dedicated page on Xiaomi's global website. However, there are no references regarding a possible debut in Europe. Information about the price is also lacking.
With a low-cost model price, this tablet could find its niche in the European market, particularly in Italy. We will have to see if Xiaomi's plans will include a debut in our market. The Redmi-branded version of the tablet has not yet arrived in Italy.
