MSI has announced the launch of a new limited edition version of the RTX 5080 in conjunction with the release of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, the new film that will be available in theaters in Italy in the coming days, with the final trailer having just been released.

In a timely marketing move, MSI aims to capture the attention of fans and collectors with the launch of the new RTX 5080 16G The Mandalorian and Grogu Edition OC. This is a limited edition version of the RTX 5080 created for the release of the movie, which is a sequel to the TV series The Mandalorian.

Only 500 units of this graphics card will be available in the European market, and they will be distributed starting from May 22, 2026, through selected retailers and the official MSI store. Currently, it is unclear how many units will arrive for the Italian market. The card features a “Mandalorian” themed casing and a magnetic backplate to which owners can attach four interchangeable plates. For now, there is no information regarding the selling price.

Acquiring it will be very difficult due to the significantly low number of available units and the expected high interest from European collectors and enthusiasts, eager to take home a truly exclusive version of the RTX 5080. From a technical perspective, there are no notable differences compared to the “standard” version of the graphics card. The limited edition also boasts the TRI FROZR 4 cooling system, STORMFORCE fans, and airflow optimization systems like Wave Curved 4.0 and Air Antegrade Fin 2.0, along with dynamic RGB lighting.
