Disney Plus Launches 6-Month Subscription with Monthly Payment Option in Italy
Disney Plus has launched a new type of subscription. The three plans (Standard with ads, Standard, and Premium) are now available with a 6-month subscription option with monthly payments and a commitment for the entire promotional period. At the end of the 6 months, the subscription will transition to the full-price monthly plan.
The New Disney Plus Subscription
With the new 6-month subscription with monthly payments, the prices to access the platform are as follows:
- Standard with ads:
- Monthly fee of 5.99 euros for 6 months, saving 1 euro per month, then 6.99 euros per month.
- Standard:
- Monthly fee of 8.99 euros for 6 months, saving 2 euros per month, then 10.99 euros per month.
- Premium:
- Monthly fee of 11.99 euros for 6 months, saving 4 euros per month, then 15.99 euros per month.
Prices starting from the seventh month may differ from those indicated if Disney Plus adjusts its rates as it did last October. Users still have the option to choose the Standard or Premium plan in an annual version, priced at 109.90 euros and 159.90 euros, respectively.
Currently, the Disney streaming platform's website does not list any expiration dates. Consequently, the new 6-month subscription could become a permanent option in Disney Plus's offerings, providing users with additional savings.
By selecting the Premium version, maximum savings of 24 euros can be achieved. It is also worth noting that there is not yet a page on the platform's website that clarifies the details of the commitment and payment methods (the charge will still be monthly).
