Starfield: Complete Italian Voice Acting Available. It Seems Official, but the Credit Goes to VoiceProjectITA

The Italian video game community has reached an impressive milestone. The team VoiceProjectITA has completed Starfield - Italian Full Voice Acting Project, a mod that introduces complete voice acting in Italian within the entire sci-fi experience branded by Bethesda.

The work addresses particularly significant numbers: the project includes over 225,000 lines of dialogue, all reworked and replaced with Italian voices, aiming to provide total coverage of the adventure in the Colonized Systems. This is not merely a partial adaptation but an extensive conversion of all dialogues and main vocal components of the game.

One of the most interesting aspects concerns audio quality. The samples were recorded at 48KHz, a specification that provides superior sound quality compared to many unofficial productions. This is the standard used in most cases by the software houses themselves. The team also employed artificial intelligence, advanced speech synthesis, and neural mapping to synchronize the lines with the facial animations of the characters.

According to the creators, each voice line underwent manual adjustments to correct intonation errors, any imperfections, and potential anomalies generated by AI. The declared goal remains to preserve the atmosphere, artistic coherence, and style of the original performances, thus offering a higher level of immersion for the Italian audience.

The production obviously required months of development, also due to the enormous amount of content and the desire to maintain a high-quality standard. Although it remains an unofficial mod and therefore external to Bethesda's contents, the project represents a high-quality update for those who wished to experience Starfield with complete voice acting in their own language.

The mod is available through NexusMods and, according to the authors, features a relatively simple installation procedure that allows even less experienced players to achieve a completely renewed experience.
