Discord Nitro now includes Xbox Game Pass Starter with a catalog of over 50 games

After recent previews, the Starter version of Xbox Game Pass is now official and, as expected, it is not a new subscription plan that can be activated independently. The Starter plan is part of a partnership between Microsoft and Discord that will allow Discord Nitro users to access this version of Game Pass.

We recall that, as part of the internal reorganization within Xbox, Game Pass has recently seen the introduction of a new price list with price cuts and the elimination of future Call of Duty titles on day one.

An additional bonus

Discord users have the opportunity to activate Discord Nitro and access a series of advantages related to platform usage. The Starter version of Game Pass is included in the subscription, costing €9.99 per month or €99.90 per year. Users will be able to take advantage of a catalog of over 50 games, which can be downloaded on their PC or Xbox console. Additionally, 10 hours of cloud gaming per month are available at no extra cost.

Among the games confirmed as part of the catalog for the Starter Edition of Game Pass are Fallout 4, Stardew Valley, DayZ, Deep Rock Galactic, Overcooked 2, and Grounded. The list will be enriched and updated over time.

The partnership is linked to the Nitro Rewards program, accessible to Nitro users, which will offer bonuses, discounts, and other benefits for users. For Microsoft, this is an additional way to expand the reach of Game Pass.
