Samsung Begins Global Rollout of One UI 8.5: Here's Which Devices Will Receive It

Samsung has announced the start of the official distribution of One UI 8.5, the new software update aimed at expanding the latest Galaxy AI features within the Galaxy ecosystem. The company aims to make the new features introduced with the interface available to an increasing number of devices, including traditional smartphones, foldables, and high-end tablets.

The rollout began yesterday, May 6, in South Korea, the first market to receive the update. Subsequently, starting from May 11, One UI 8.5 will progressively arrive in other parts of the world, including Europe, Hong Kong, India, Latin America, North America, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia. Samsung has also confirmed that more regions will be involved in the following weeks.

The update is designed to particularly enhance communication and creativity experiences, leveraging the integration of Galaxy AI technologies within the interface. The goal is to provide more advanced and intuitive tools for daily use of Galaxy devices, with optimizations dedicated to both productivity and multimedia content.

Compatible Products with One UI 8.5

Among the compatible products are several recent models from the Galaxy line. One UI 8.5 will be available for the Galaxy S25 series, including the Galaxy S25 FE, as well as the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 FE range. Samsung will also bring the new software to the foldables Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7, along with the previous Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6.

The tablet segment will also receive the new update: Samsung has confirmed compatibility with the Galaxy Tab S11 series and the Galaxy Tab S10 line, further expanding the distribution of the new AI features within its premium catalog.

With this new phase of distribution, Samsung continues to strengthen the unification of the Galaxy software experience, focusing on artificial intelligence, continuity between devices, and new features integrated into the One UI interface.
