This is not just an incremental update over the previous generation but a complete redesign of the entire architecture: a bagless cyclone suction system, a roller mop with hot water at 75°C and artificial intelligence for stain recognition.

The starting point is the BLAST suction system, powered by a 100 W motor with fans 45% larger than the X9 Pro Omni model. The result is an airflow of 18 l/s and a power that reaches 19,500 Pa, with a 140% improvement in fine dust removal and a 262% increase in pet hair collection from carpets. The declared collection rate for large debris is 100% on both hard floors and textile surfaces.

No Bag: Here’s How It Works

The most significant structural innovation is the elimination of the dust bag from the emptying station. Instead, Ecovacs has integrated a two-stage cyclonic separation system in the base that sucks and compresses dirt into a rigid container of 1.6 liters. When it’s full, just pull it out and empty it in the bin. No bags to purchase, no prematurely clogged filters.

PowerBooster technology solves the problem of performance drop during prolonged sessions: every 3 minutes, the robot returns to the base for rinsing the roller, and during these pauses, it recovers 6% charge. An algorithm anticipates how much energy to keep in reserve to complete the entire area without long charging stops, covering areas up to 1,000 m² even at maximum power.

75°C Mop and Edge Cleaning

The OZMO ROLLER 2.0 system operates at a pressure of 3,800 Pa with the roller making 200 revolutions per minute to scrub and rinse the surface 200 times per second. The floating tank keeps the water constantly at 75°C: the roller remains immersed during rotation to dissolve grease and grime without harsh detergents. After each session, the system drains the dirty water in one direction, ensuring a clean mop for the next cycle.

For edge cleaning, TruEdge 3.0 integrates a roller suspended on air cushions extending 1.5 cm beyond the robot's profile: it cleans along skirting boards without hitting furniture and silently. On the front of artificial intelligence, AI Spot Detection 2.0 analyzes stains in real-time: for stubborn ones, it activates Deep Re-mop mode with two cross-weave passes and rinsing of the mop in each cycle to avoid contamination on already clean areas.

And then, the TruePass four-wheel drive traction system with adaptive climbing mechanism allows the X11 to overcome thresholds up to 4 cm on continuous steps and 2.4 cm on single steps, a record for this category. When the robot encounters an unexpected obstacle, two auxiliary wheels with soft rubber teeth automatically activate to maintain traction.
