An Internal Error Behind the GALAX Chaos: Palit Clarifies the Future and is Ready to Relaunch
Palit has published an official statement to clarify the situation surrounding the future of the GALAX brand, following last week's rumors that suggested the manufacturer would abandon the graphics card market, similar to what EVGA did in past years. The company has categorically denied such claims, explaining that the brand will continue its activities under a new internal organization directly managed by the Palit group.
According to the communication, the confusion arose from an "internal misunderstanding" involving Ronaldo Buassali, responsible for GALAX Brazil and a well-known figure in the technical channel TecLab. Some incorrect information shared during the corporate reorganization phase had indeed suggested a possible closure of GPU-related activities, an interpretation that was quickly amplified online.
In the statement, Palit emphasizes that GALAX is not leaving the graphics card market and that the company is already committed to developing both current products and future generations of GPUs. At the same time, the direct integration of the brands GALAX, KFA2, and HOF under the Palit group's headquarters is confirmed, a choice that should centralize the commercial and technical management of the various brands.
The company also reiterated the strategic importance of its collaboration with TecLab and Ronaldo, a well-known figure in the Brazilian enthusiast community, particularly for content dedicated to extreme overclocking, modding, and advanced testing on GALAX graphics cards. Palit stated its intention to maintain the same quality standards and level of support that have contributed to the brand's popularity in South America.
Ronaldo also publicly intervened through a video posted on social media, showing official documentation received from the company and confirming that GALAX will continue its activities regularly. The internal reorganization therefore seems to represent more of an operational consolidation than a downsizing of the business. Palit, already one of NVIDIA's main partners in the AIB segment, will assume a more marked direct control over the management of the connected brands, including the HOF (Hall of Fame) division, historically appreciated by enthusiasts for custom PCBs, advanced power systems, and overclocking capabilities.
Founded in 1994 in Hong Kong, GALAX has become one of the most recognizable names in the enthusiast graphics card industry over the years. The KFA2 brand is primarily used in the European market, while GALAX operates in Asia-Pacific, North America, and South America. HOF solutions, in particular, are often considered among the most extreme in the custom NVIDIA GPU landscape.
The statements released by Palit therefore seem intended to reassure business partners, users, and the enthusiast community: GALAX will continue to operate normally and is already working on the next generations of products based on future NVIDIA GPUs.
