Motorola Edge 70 Pro Arrives in Italy: Feature-Packed but with a Steep MSRP

The new Motorola Edge 70 Pro has arrived in Italy and is ready to carve out a prominent space in the mid-range segment. The list price is quite high, as is customary for Motorola smartphones, but the street price should quickly drop to levels that make the model significantly more appealing. There are some differences compared to the Indian version presented last week.

Specifications

The new Motorola Edge 70 Pro features the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme SoC and a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, with a Full HD+ resolution and a maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz. It also includes 12 GB of RAM, 512 GB of UFS 4.1 storage, and a 6,500 mAh battery, supporting 90 W fast charging and 15 W wireless charging. Among its specifications, it also boasts an IP68/IP69 certification.

The camera system includes three 50 Megapixel rear cameras, with a periscope telephoto lens offering 3.5x optical zoom, which is a novelty compared to the version intended for the Indian market.

The operating system is Android 16, featuring 3 major updates and 5 years of security patches (this is the announced support for India, and it is currently unclear if there will be differences in Europe) along with various features for utilizing artificial intelligence.

Price

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro is already available in Italy (you can find it on the Motorola store, for example) with a list price of 799 euros for the only configuration available (12/512 GB) in our country. There are two color options: Pantone Zinfandel and Pantone Titan.
