The future iPhone for the 20th anniversary is already 'inspiring' some Chinese manufacturers for their smartphones

Chinese smartphone manufacturers have never hidden their desire to "draw inspiration" from Apple for their products. After taking cues from the Liquid Glass design solutions, some manufacturers are now focusing on developing a new display that could echo the future design of the iPhone, expected to hit the market next year and recently at the center of early rumors. Apple’s model is expected to feature a slightly curved OLED display on all four sides, aiming to eliminate the bezels.

Is OPPO ready to imitate Apple?
Currently leading the charge is OPPO, which, according to some rumors, is already working on a solution of this type to propose in the coming months. A new smartphone with a curved display on all four sides could enhance OPPO's lineup well ahead of the debut of the new iPhone 20 (it’s worth noting that Apple is expected to "skip" the 19 series and go directly to 20). Remember, OPPO also manages the OnePlus and Realme brands, which could also propose similar solutions to the upcoming iPhone.

For further details, we will need to wait a few more months. As always, Apple represents an important source of inspiration for various Chinese OEMs (who have also introduced the Pro Max denomination in recent months). The new display solution for the iPhone 20 could represent an interesting evolution for the market, although costs and real advantages will need to be assessed. We will know more in the future.
