Motorola and Swarovski: Here are the moto g87 and the new Signature Brilliant Collection

In conjunction with the launch of the new Razr 70, Motorola also unveiled other interesting products for the Italian market: on one hand, the new moto g87, which brings 200 Megapixels to the G series for the first time, and on the other hand, the exclusive Brilliant Collection created in collaboration with Swarovski.

Motorola moto g87

With the new moto g87, Motorola redefines the technical parameters of the G series. The real star is the camera system based on a main 200 Megapixel sensor that uses Ultra Pixel technology (16-in-1 binning) to enhance light capture in challenging conditions and integrates Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).

Noteworthy is the 2x lossless zoom, which allows for high-quality optical enlargements leveraging the ultra-high pixel density of the primary sensor. The setup is completed by an 8MP ultra-wide angle and a 32MP front camera for selfies.

On the display front, we find a 6.78-inch Extreme AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1.5K. The most impressive technical detail is the peak brightness that reaches 5000 nits, a record value that ensures perfect readability even under direct sunlight.

The 120Hz refresh rate guarantees maximum operational fluidity. Under the hood, the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 SoC powers the device, supported by 12GB of physical RAM (expandable up to 24GB via RAM Boost) and a 5200mAh battery with 30W TurboPower fast charging.

Brilliant Collection: Motorola and Swarovski Take Center Stage Again

Alongside the practicality of the moto g, Motorola presented the Brilliant Collection, a line that blends technology and haute jewelry. The motorola signature and the new moto buds 2 plus earbuds are reinterpreted with Swarovski crystals.

Motorola signature Brilliant is characterized by the PANTONE Violet Indigo hue and a silk-inspired coating with a 3D texture. On the back, 20 hand-set amethyst-colored Swarovski crystals are embedded. At the hardware level, the device does not compromise: Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform and a camera that has already received excellent ratings on DXOMARK.

Completing the collection are the moto buds 2 plus, also adorned with crystals (41 on the case and 12 on each earbud) and equipped with Sound by Bose technology for an industry-leading audio experience.

Both devices do not overlook durability. The moto g87 is certified IP66, IP68, and IP69, offering total protection against dust, immersion, and even high-pressure and temperature water jets. The robustness is certified by military standards MIL-STD-810H and the use of Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. Motorola Signature also follows this philosophy, adopting Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and a chassis made from 100% recycled aluminum.
