OnePlus focuses on gaming: here is the new Ace 6 Ultra smartphone

OnePlus continues to ignore rumors of a possible downsizing, updating its range with new products every month. While waiting for some of these to arrive in Europe, where the topic of downsizing might be real, the brand launched a new smartphone in China: the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra.

A lot of power and a focus on gaming

The new OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra features the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC, a chip built using a 3nm manufacturing process that offers high performance in all usage contexts. Noteworthy is the Glacier Cooling System and a vapor chamber of 6000 mm². The device can be paired with the Strix Gaming Controller, which has a joystick-less layout and mechanical trigger buttons.

Completing the technical specifications is a 6.78-inch LTPS OLED display, with a panel provided by BOE, Full HD+ resolution, and a maximum refresh rate of 165 Hz. The camera setup includes a 50 Megapixel main sensor, an 8 Megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 16 Megapixel front camera.

Also noteworthy is a large 8,600 mAh battery with support for 120 W fast charging. The operating system is Android 16 with ColorOS 16. The smartphone features LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, with various combinations available, up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage.

As for pricing, the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra will be sold in China starting at 3499 yuan, which is just under 450 euros.
