Xiaomi 17T Is Ready for Debut: Excellent Specifications to Conquer the Mid-Range

There has been talk of an early debut for the Xiaomi 17T series, which, instead of arriving between September and October, should be available on the European market as soon as next month, May, further strengthening Xiaomi's lineup.

Also this year, the company is expected to produce two models: Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro, which will replace the 15T series models. A benchmark, which has appeared online in recent hours, confirms some specifications of the base model of the range, the Xiaomi 17T.

Specifications

According to the available information, the future Xiaomi 17T should feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 SoC, a chip capable of delivering excellent performance in all usage contexts. This SoC will be complemented by 12 GB of RAM and the Android 16 operating system, as always customized with HyperOS.

To enhance the technical sheet, as confirmed by other rumors, there should be a 6,500 mAh battery with support for 65 W fast charging. As for the camera department, there shouldn't be substantial changes compared to the previous generation. Consequently, the smartphone should feature a triple rear camera with two 50 Megapixel sensors (main and telephoto) and a 12 Megapixel ultra-wide sensor. It should also have IP68 waterproof certification.

As emphasized at the beginning, the smartphone should hit the market, along with a Pro variant, during next month, May. The smartphones will arrive in Europe, where they will carve out a significant space in the mid-high market segment.
