DAZN’s Day Pass Changes: Now Usable by Some Users Without Subscription

Launched in previous months, the Day Pass from DAZN allows subscribers with a Goal or MyClubPass plan to access all matches of a Serie A matchday that are not included in their subscription.

Also for Users Without Subscription

As revealed in recent hours by some reports, DAZN is extending the possibility of activating this Pass to other users. Consequently, even those with a DAZN account without a subscription will be able to activate the Day Pass and follow all 10 matches of a matchday in a pay-per-view mode.

It's unclear whether this is a test or a promotion reserved for selected users who are receiving an email regarding the initiative. With the league entering its final phase, DAZN may have chosen to extend the Day Pass to some users in order to increase revenue during a time when new subscriptions are few.

While waiting for official communications, in any case, some users of DAZN without a subscription now have the option to activate the Day Pass for a one-time cost of €19.99. This is an interesting initiative to follow a big match without having to activate any subscription.

Let us remember that, just over a month ago, DAZN announced a price increase for subscriptions, with a hike affecting the Full and Family plans that allow access to the entire catalog of the platform. As the next season approaches, many users will have to deal with higher expenses.
