Due to the very high price, the smartphone could disappoint enthusiasts due to some notable missing features.

Appointment in Autumn

iPhone Ultra will arrive in autumn 2026 and there will be no further delays for the project. It remains to be understood whether Apple will opt for a presentation in September, alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, or if there will be a postponed launch to October/November. The lack of precise indications regarding this could be a sign that Apple itself has not yet made the final decision on this matter. The hypothesis of a September launch is the most accredited at this time.

It is also worth noting the possible absence of MagSafe wireless charging and a dedicated LED flash. It remains to be seen whether there will be a variable opening system for the main rear camera, one of the main innovations of the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max.
