Rapidly Growing Industrial Cooling Solutions. Italy Takes Center Stage with Faster

The sector of technologies for heat dissipation and management is experiencing rapid growth. If in 2025 the sector was valued at about $19.8 billion, by 2030 it is expected to reach the threshold of $30 billion, with a year-on-year growth of 8.6%.

Driving the sector is the industrial world and, more recently, AI data centers. Among the key players is the Italian company, Faster, a part of Helios, specializing in connection and hydraulic systems, which has recently established a division focused specifically on cooling technologies.

The new thermal management division of Faster brings 75 years of experience in designing connection systems for fluid management into the world of liquid cooling. This know-how originates from complex industrial applications where reliability, sealing, and operational continuity are non-negotiable variables. Now, these skills are becoming central in data centers, driven by increasing power densities and the need to cool increasingly energy-intensive infrastructures. The offering includes UQD and UQDB (Universal Quick Disconnect and Universal Quick Disconnect Blindmate, two global standards for quick-connect, leak-free connections) and LQC (Large Quick Connector) solutions designed for next-generation data centers.

Faster collaborates with customers in a co-design approach, developing customized and high-performance solutions. Support comes from an industrial presence in key markets like the United States, India, and Italy, which helps shorten the distance to customers and provide greater continuity to the supply chain.

"This trend highlights a profound change in the industrial landscape," comments Matteo Arduini, CEO of Faster. "The increase in energy density, electrification, and the spread of high-performance systems make thermal management increasingly central, while data centers confirm their position as major development engines." Confirming this dynamic, according to Grand View Research, the cooling market, already valued at over $26 billion in 2025, could exceed $120 billion by 2033, with annual growth rates exceeding 20%.

The expansion of applications related to artificial intelligence, cloud, and high-performance computing is generating unprecedented levels of heat, accelerating the adoption of more advanced technologies such as liquid cooling. In this scenario, thermal management is establishing itself as a strategic enabler for the development of the digital economy. For Faster, it also represents a key milestone: the new division is a strategic pillar for the company's future and strengthens its role as a technology partner, aiming to generate concrete value for customers and the market.
