Announced Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced: Release Date, PC Requirements, Editions and Everything You Need to Know
Ubisoft has finally officially announced Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, a remake of the famous fourth chapter of the saga, confirming one of the most persistent rumors of recent times. The game will be available starting July 9, 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, accompanied by a presentation trailer that highlighted numerous improvements introduced.
The title revisits the original story, bringing players into the shoes of Edward Kenway, a charismatic pirate and captain of the Jackdaw. The adventure takes place in the Caribbean, amid the clash between Assassins and Templars, maintaining the narrative structure that made the original chapter famous, while enriching it with a completely renewed technical aspect.
One of the most evident aspects concerns the graphics. Thanks to the latest version of the Anvil engine, the game offers much more detailed and realistic environments, from stormy seas, lush jungles, to sunken wrecks. The introduction of technologies such as ray tracing and Dolby Atmos contributes to making the experience even more immersive, improving both lighting and audio.
There are also significant changes to the gameplay. The combat system has been redesigned to be more dynamic and modern, with greater emphasis on parries and counterattacks. Stealth and parkour have also been improved, ensuring smoother and more natural movements during exploration and escape. These changes aim to align the game with current standards while retaining the original identity.
Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced: Details on Requirements, Editions, and Prices
Regarding the PC version, Ubisoft has released quite detailed system requirements. The minimum configuration allows you to play in Full HD at 30 fps with low settings, while the recommended setup allows reaching 60 fps at medium quality. The more advanced configurations aim for 4K at 60 fps with Ultra details, requiring high-end hardware such as next-generation video cards and powerful processors.
The game also supports several modern technologies, including DLSS, FSR, and XeSS, along with dynamic resolution and frame generation. There are also options for multi-monitor setups, HDR, and ultra-wide support, along with a built-in benchmark useful for testing performance.
In addition to the technical aspects, Ubisoft has also unveiled the editions available at launch. The Standard Edition will be priced at 59.99 EUR, while the Deluxe Edition, available only digitally at 69.99 EUR, will include additional cosmetic content for the protagonist and the ship. The Collector's Edition, on the other hand, represents the most complete offer, with numerous collectible physical items such as a statuette of Edward, a fabric map, and other exclusive bonuses for 199.99 EUR.
