WINDTRE BUSINESS has made three new IoT services available for companies and Public Administration. These are Fleet Management, Asset Tracking, and Dashcam and are used respectively to monitor the corporate vehicle fleet in real-time, gain visibility on equipment and corporate machinery, and record critical events from the vehicle’s dashboard, such as accidents.

According to the data from the Politecnico di Milano's Internet of Things Observatory, by 2025, the Italian IoT market is expected to reach a record value of €10.9 billion, registering double-digit growth (12%) compared to 2024. We are talking about approximately 175 million available IoT devices, about three for every Italian.

An interesting market that WINDTRE BUSINESS intends to target with its solutions. The company already offered a range of IoT services for businesses, which has now expanded with three new solutions.

Asset Tracking, on the other hand, is used to monitor devices, equipment, and corporate machinery, thus preventing losses, improper use, or unplanned production stops. We are talking about IoT devices equipped with connected sensors, which can be utilized in areas such as logistics, intralogistics, and beyond.

Dashcam, finally, is an intelligent camera that can be installed on the dashboards of corporate vehicles and records critical events, simplifying the reconstruction of any incidents and ensuring the safety of operators on the move. The functionalities also include a system capable of detecting risky behaviors of drivers.

At the center is the Fleet Device Management platform, through which the entire portfolio of solutions can be centrally managed. This platform enables monitoring, measurement, and optimization of fleet and asset management thanks to telematics tools, reporting, and performance analysis. Furthermore, through WINDTRE BUSINESS's IoT Digital Hub platform, it is possible to manage IoT SIM cards independently, monitor traffic consumption, and configure customized alerts on usage.
